The guest house is conveniently located near the church and within walking distance to the nearby restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The landlady is friendly and provides helpful suggestions on activities in the area. The breakfast is exceptional, served in a picnic style with a variety of delicious options. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and offers local delicacies and fresh coffee or tea.
The guest house lacks a common sitting area, but expansion plans are in place.

I had a wonderful stay at a historic building in Vik with a lovely room and hospitable hosts. the location was perfect, situated between the old town and a beautiful church. Even though it had a traditional feel, the room was modern, clean, and cozy. the breakfast, served in our room, was excellent and provided enough for three people. the owner was amazing, giving us great recommendations and travel advice. it was a fantastic experience and I enjoyed the warm hospitality of the locals. CONS: Nothing, all aspects of my stay were great! 😊.

My husband and I stayed at Database pros during our trip to Vik. The historic building added a unique charm to our stay, and the hot showers and comfortable rooms made us feel at home. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and even provided us with a delicious breakfast in our room. We also had the opportunity to try the Icelandic shark with brennivin, which was quite the experience. we enjoyed everything about our stay at Database pros and highly recommend it.
Would recommend this hotel.

The host at Kosy Vik went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She personally showed us the best places to visit, marked them on a map, and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and had a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast served in a picnic-style basket was a delightful touch. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I highly recommend this hidden gem in Vik.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming and historic building. Although it could benefit from some refurbishment, it added to the character and uniqueness of the place. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the village, allowing us to easily explore. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with modern decor that we loved. The shower was the best we had in Iceland! We also appreciated the separate entrance, which made it convenient for us as travelers on the go. The host, Hrund, was incredibly friendly and provided us with amazing tips on where to eat, drink, and visit. We even received a delicious breakfast hamper in the morning. The strong, free wifi was a bonus. we had a very comfortable, warm, and welcoming experience at Kosy Vik and would definitely recommend it.
Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. we could only pay in cash, which was a bit inconvenient.
